We have introduced a new Firm switch, BillingGeneratePDFAsBackgroundTask, to enhance billing workflows. Feature Highlights Improved Efficiency: Generate bill PDFs in the background, allowing uninterrupted use of the Billing Module. Optimized Performance: Perfect for processing 50+ bills at once, reducing delays during approvals. A Progress Spinner: when the app is approving bills (the same spinner used when saving bills). This prevents the user from interacting with the billing module until the DB process to approve bills has completed. Note: Bills generating PDF documents cannot be completed until the generation process finishes. Enabling the switch: Activate the BillingGeneratePDFAsBackgroundTask switch in Firm Settings to start using this feature.
